You or your trusted veterinarian will first contact me to discuss what ails your pet. I will review diagnostic tests that have already been completed and determine how best to obtain additional information, if needed. I will thoroughly discuss all treatment options, both surgical and nonsurgical, with you and your pet’s doctor. I will ensure that you understand the diagnosis, prognosis, risks, expectations, and costs before making any decisions. I will communicate with your veterinarian and formulate a plan for the best possible outcome. If surgery is elected, I will perform a gentle, stress-free examination as I get to know your furry friend and develop a bond. I will work with your veterinarian to utilize aggressive pain management therapies to keep your pet comfortable. You can rest assured that your companion will receive the highest-quality care available before, during, and after the procedure. I will provide detailed discharge information and will always be available to guide you through recovery. I will remain involved for as long as your pet needs me and then return primary care to the capable hands of your family veterinarian.
